Re: SRS A-1/Where do I lube

I have two A1s with several thousand rounds through them. I clean the chamber with BoreTech Carbon Remover and wipe the old grease off the lugs and apply small amount of new grease. I apply some Kranoil to the boltface and wipe with a Qtip. I only clean the bore after 5-700 rounds with two wet patch...

Re: Issue with my new A1

I had the same issue with my DTA SRS A1 after about 7 months. Sent it in to DTA and came back in about two weeks better than new with them fixing the soft cheek pad which had bubbled up in places from the Arizona heat. Apparantly just burrs. I now clean the barrel extensions well when switching and ...

Re: Scope mounting question

WOW, 19 views and nothing but crickets. Just as an update...I now have the scope mounted. I torqued the DTA 34mm mount to the rail while pushing it forward on the rail to 70in/lbs. I then put the scope in the mount and used feeler gauges between the bottom of the Premier Recticles 5-25x56mm Tactica...

Re: The safety on my SRS has come loose

Send it for repair. They will fix it for you in short order. Great customer service, but hard to be without my DTA for 3 weeks. 8-)

Two Must Haves

#1 DTA soft cases are awesome with incorporated pockets inside for 6 magazines, Torque wrench, spare parts, suppressor and one 26" barrel. Rifle with scope straps in firmly. Unfold the case and it works as a shooting mat! Well worth the cost and much more versatile than a Pelican case. #2 MagnetoSpe...

Re: Wireless Target Camera

Here's a TargetCam view at 570 yards. Definitely saves a lot of walking and driving! You can see the 2 wireless cameras in the foreground if you look closely.

Re: Anyone get their AMR scope yet?

I have seen some good reviews on the Hide. I have been using a Vortex Razor HD 5-20X with 10 mil turrets and EBR-2B reticle and a S&B 3-20X with MSR reticle and MTC locking turrets. Using my 260 26" barrels more often than the 308s. Hitting 12" square steel plates at 900 yards about 80% of the time....

Re: Bipods

I prefer the Atlas with the QD mount. Much better than the Harris I initially had. Easier to load and keep sight on target. Also, use a rear shoestring bag for support when shooting prone rather than the monopod on both of my SRS A1s. http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p638/sib1948/CEE8E701-F7D5-4C...

Re: My DTA

Yesterday at the range put 8 out of 10 rounds square on 6" steel diamond at 550 yards. First shot was a little high. Loving the 308 22" barrel. Can't wait to get more time with the 260 26" conversion though. Will keep you all updated!
