Re: Shoot with other DTA owners

Looking to shoot sometime in Ohio or Northern Virginia. I've family in Ohio so I only need another excuse to head west. I'm right outside of the DC area. You can shoot my Tac Ops if I can shoot your DTA as I want to shoot one before I buy!

Re: Custom barrels available at Short Action Customs

Short Action Customs, With a DTS, can you switch between short action and long action? What calibers can you provide? Re: Bullet jump

Contact the manufacturer. I've noticed that larger calibers and larger bullets need more jump. I use .004" off the lands for my .308 and my neighbor is almost .04" off for his .300 Ultra. I'm shooting 168gn and he is at 220. A phone call can't hurt but a high pressure spike might.

dtanut,
O yeah, if you don't like spending the time behind the bench, that's ok. Go find some good ammo; try various brands and bullet weights. Then when you find something you are satisfied with, buy a bunch of the same lot number.

Re: 16" .308 loads

dtanut, Your missing out on the fun of developing an upclose and personal relationship with your DTS. Grab a lb of each powder and a pack of 100 of each and go out there and try some various loads. I personally work a matrix of gradually increasing powder on one axis and different seating depths on ...
