For sure I would recommend Seddo, brought my SAC barrel in for me and it was quick. Also provided me with tracking and updates. It would be worthwhile getting a firm number first. Also Mark will need to finish and release the conversion. The second revision may not be the last before the finished product. Don't be surprised if its another 6 months or more before its no where near completion. He has pride in his work and won't release it unless it meets his standards.

I agree, I fully understand the time component, my order would depend on the price of the parts

Gotta organise to get the stiller, barrels and Sledgehammer done first (that way the DTA is no longer registered as a "naughty" 338LM, will have to organise that with you

I know what you mean, i have a few rifle builds on the go at the moment as well. The big decision for me at the moment is do i sell the 375 cheytac i am building (Tac408, XLR, Lilja, Jewell) and buy a HTI or build a 375 sledgehammer barrel for the SRS?

I am getting the stiller done to replace the Rem700 and stick in the AICS, get the Sledgehammer into the SRS (although I am going to get a PSR once they are released). That way as I said, no longer registered as a 338, after that I am getting an HTI

Going with the Sledgehammer build for the SRS is the main reason I won't buy a HTI now. Firstly we can't have a 50 conversion for the HTI, secondly the 375 Cheytac doesn't have enough over the Sledgehammer to warrant the spending of 10k (including optics, bipod, hard case and all the other fun bits). Take nothing from the HTI as it looks like an awesome system and if I could write a new rifle off on my tax like I once did for all my pistols then I would be there in a heart beat.

Back to the .223 and this is going to be like waiting on Christmas when you know you we're getting your first bike.

Depends on what can be built locally on a MAB barrel if we can get the extention and a smith to do it, the bolt is the same as the 416B bolt IIRC

There is nothing stopping me from having a 50bmg in Victoria, just have to e a member of the right club, but with the armours kit there is nothing stopping me building a 510DTC and you can shoot that anywhere.

I have the SRS armours kit and extensions so it won't be too hard to get the HTI one.
