Custom barrels available at Short Action Customs

I have a bunch of DTA barrels that are available. Here are the specifications of the barrels and prices.



These 3 Broughton barrels came to us with the barrel length cut, muzzle threads cut from DTA, and fluted from Broughton. We dialed the barrels in, fit the extension, timed the curvature of the bore and chambered them with our 308 Match reamer. Headspace is go +.001". The barrels also have our locking cut performed on all barrels to ensure it will drop into a chassis and lock.

Bartlein 6.5 Creedmoor, 1-8" twist, 5R rifling, Gen 2 extension, 26" finish length, 5/8 x 24 threads, custom thread protector. Price includes Cerakoting to customers specs and shipping...$1200






Bartlein 260 Rem with Lapua brass chamber, 1-8" twist, 5R rifling, Gen 2 extension, 29" blank length. Price includes cutting to length, crowning, threading, custom thread protector and Cerakoting to your color specs and shipping...$1200






Bartlein 7mm Creedmoor. 1-8.7" twist, 5R rifling, Gen 1 extension (can swap out for a Gen 2 if need be), 28" finish, 5/8 x 24 threads, custom thread protector. Price includes Cerakoting to customers specs and shipping...$1050. This barrel was a test barrel and has around 200 rounds down the tube and looks new. I have some loaded ammo that shoots extremely well with it. This barrel has hit 12" steel targets at 1 mile and will deliver consistent accuracy out to 1200 yards.

Has anyone purchased any of these? They seem like a great deal to me.

Do you care to share some info on the 7mm Creedmore? It looks like an interesting round, simular to the 284 in performance??

.223 - SAC is making a conversion
.243 - Custom Barrel, It can be done, DT use to make it as a factory barrel, perhaps they, or a dealer still have stock for this barrel, some dealers here are still listing them, but that could just be laziness on their part not updating the site
.260 - Factory Barrel
.270 - Custom Barrel Perhaps, depending on bolt face and OAL. I do not know much about this chambering
.280AI - Again Custom barrel, again I do not know much about this chambering, but IIRC someone has built a barrel in this chambering
.308 - Factory Barrel
