It's not hard, you can order a barrel blank, get an extension, ask archaos to borrow a reamer and get a gunsmith to put it together.

The gunsmith near me can fit the barrel extension but I've spoken to a few gunsmiths about it and they all seem happy to do it.

I am actually on the edge and close to selling my Sledge conversion. I don't have the time or place to shoot it anymore. Work is becoming a 15hr a day thing with no sign in the extended future of changing.

(Update: I have decided to keep it all, no use in throwing money away, it can sit in wait)

That's a shame but it all comes down to time.

I put 5 rounds through mine today at 300y to see what sort of vertical I was getting. I'm going out rock hunting tomorrow, a mate has a spot lined up where we can punch rock out to 2000m. I was hoping to take the sledge barrel but I managed to break my lap mag shell holder, ripped half of it clean off. Now I only have some 338lm, 300wm and 243 rounds to take.

Well if I ever get to hold my rifle ;) in my hand and you decided to sell it I would definitely be interested just putting it out there

UPDATE: I have had the throat lengthened on my 375 Sledgehammer barrel, its about 0.100 longer.

The new load i am working on it a 350gr SMK doing 2800fps with 106gr AR2217 (H1000). I still need to do some accuracy testing on it but its great over the chrono with a low es.

The next step is to get some 330gr Cutting Edge solids as they run lower pressure with the band on them, hopefully i will be able to get more velocity.

Hi,
Im in Iceland and im working on a new build, i havea stiller TAC-338 acton and in interested in a .375 bullet in a 338 lapua case, Greg Couper pointed me to the 375 Sledgehammer.
do you have a drawing of the reamer for the 375 Sledgehammer i can get or who can i buy the reamer from?
what is the angle of the shoulders?
All you guys can tell me is going to be great!!!
Thanks,
