I know Russ is having a hell of a time getting components, but I'm curious what the wait times we're looking at for .308WIN and .338LM ammo? I'm bringing my rifle back to the States during the holidays but obviously won't be bringing my reloading gear with me, so I need to get some loaded ammo to run.

Re: Availability
I would check for you, but I don't want to bug him too much or he might not get me mine!!
We can't even get ammo from him to zero rifles going out to magazines and video guys right now...
Seems like it should hopefully be calmed down by then though--are you talking about just having it shipped novemberish?
I can check...

Yup, it's a mad dash from here on out until late November to get the next Hobbit film done. As soon as it's in theaters I can take a much needed vacation and head home for a while and I'll be bringing my SRS back from NZ. So yeah, my main concern is getting some .338LM and .308WIN ammo come late Dec, early Jan at the latest.

Re: Availability
Hey gents, we are doing what we can to get components in and fill back orders. I'm not going to give time frames because honestly my distributors aren't able to give me any.
I can say that .375 Cheytac is starting up again tomorrow. As many as I have components for. While my guys are loading that I will be setting up for a run of 338 Lapua. While I don't have everything I need to fill all the backorders I'm gonna do my best to make y'all happy.
.308 is anyones guess. I have A LOT of components on order, but no idea when I will have them in hand.
I have big plans for DTM and bringing out new calibers. Be patient gents.
Also, I'm all ears on what you guys want to see. Let me know if there are certain combos of bullets and calibers that you're interested in. While we don't use the standard powders, I can try to come up with loads that float your boats. My personal preferences aren't always best.
Russ
BTW, I will try to get on here more. I have been insanely busy, I'm sure you guys understand.

I do hope you get the backlog taken care of before you get to the new stuff. I've got some pretty pissed off customers these days, constantly reminding me of this "interest free loan" (of several thousand dollars in some cases) that they've given DTA/DTM. I'm very much hoping that the new year finds you guys back to 30-60 day lead times on all. Shorter would be better... as I don't think my customer base can withstand much more of this 6-9 month stuff.
That said, I think it would be great if DTM had the ability to fulfill the common ammo interests.
6.5 creedmoor is quite popular. I get constant requests for it. 142SMK, 140Amax, something like that maybe?
Some 7WSM would be good too. The 162 Amax is pretty hard to beat there.

Doing what I can.
I want to fill my backorders as well, but have no clue when I will be getting everything. There is always a piece of the puzzle missing.
I want to have 6.5 CM, .260, 7WSM......

Terrible that you're in the same position as the rest of us.DTM-RussW1911 wrote:I want to fill my backorders as well, but have no clue when I will be getting everything. There is always a piece of the puzzle missing.

Re: Availability
We have match 338 Lapua in stock and and occasionally have 375CT available. We have a lot of 223 components left over from another deal we did, primers, bullets, brass, and powder. Just call in to buy.
