Russ,

Have you set up the scoep yet or is it just sitting there? Its positioned a long way back compared to mine.

Hi Seddo,

Very astute observation my friend, I had left my 70 in/lbs t-bar torque wrench in the case when I took the rifle and optics to the gunsmith who was visiting a friend of mine here in COS and asked them to mount the scope (so they used a little more torque saying that 70 was to low and subjects the scope to undue movement when it's jarred). I briefly gave the gunsmith the eye relief rough measurement when I arrived and thats where it was mounted when I return. I have no idea if the relief is workable in its current spot. I just looked for parallax and he just put in a few more (or less) mm's relief and called it good. If I can ever make it to the range with Luna I'm sure we'll have the more correct location after a few black eyes on my part. Thanks again, Amigo, for posting the pics.

Happy Holidays friends,

Newbie RussellinCOS

FYI,
When we did our 3080 yard record group we had to power down to 12x to have enough reticle holdover area because internal adjustment was limited. The ideal would be a scope with 150 moa of travel that tops out between 17x - 20x.

It wasn't difficult to shoot 3080 yards at 12x. It was too far away to resolve most impacts anyway even with our 69x heinzholdt spotter.
