srs bolt light firing pin strike
I was at the range last night renewing my kangaroo culling licence doing my second set of targets and 2 of my shots didn't go on the first trigger pull I ejected each round and it had a very light firing pin strike as in almost not visible - now I haven't played with the bolt but from what I can see there isn't any excessive grease I also sprayed a bit of light lube in there to see if it was maby too dry but no change has any one had this issue before or know of something to check I've now had about 6 out of 30 rnds

Re: srs bolt light firing pin strike
hummm crickets
it tunrs out it was a warrenty thing according to cleaver firearms in QLD it was ether the pin or spring that had come from a bad batch and it was replaced without question but i was without a firing pin for 2 months while it was posted up then sat for a while then sent back (with a shirt and hat) after it was posted to the wrong address
BUT my 338 bolt is now doing the same thing random light firng pin strikes so i swiched the pins over and it does the same thing in my 308 bolt so i guess im up for some postage and a long wait again
