Re: Soft carry case
Alright seddo,
So the covert soft case just opens on 1 end and the rifle slides in. The inside is just the nylon with padding underneath. Here were a couple I tried to get for you:

For anybody else who hasn't seen it yet, the inside of the full size SRS soft case can be seen here: http://www.deserttacticalarms.com/acces ... g-mat.html

Thanks dan, I was curious to see if it was like the shooting mat with straps and pockets inside. I think I will get one.

Re: Soft carry case
no prob. the covert case doesn't have any pouches or straps inside, just essentially one large pocket with a side opening...as you've seen, it does have plenty of storage on the outside of the case. Super sturdy. I'm a covert fan boy, so I love most things covert...
Re: Soft carry case
Ordered the soft case/shooting mat for my SRS A1, but doubt I'll use the mat option. Just like all the straps and pockets inside and out, making for easier portability. All my other rifles are in pelican cases, which are good for long trips, but very heavy and awkward.
