I'm looking to purchase one of the MDR series rifles in 7.62x51 when I get back to the states, but there are a couple lingering concerns I had. I apologize if these have been answered elsewhere, but a good search of the internet hasn't provided a solid answer to any of these questions:
Are the magazines accepted by the 7.62x51 MDR the standard SR25/M110 PMags? If so, will it fit the 10rd PMags comfortably? (AKA able to be gripped before ejecting & able to be seated all the way in)
Aside from a poster image, I have not been able to find info on availability of the carbine length 19" echo 7.62x51 MDR, is that coming this year?
On a related note: if the 19" is indeed coming, will it be compatible with slower burning loads in 7.62x51, or will the still burning powder when the projectile passes the gas port create issues with the gas system?
Will these be available to ship with smaller magazines or without a magazine? The reason I ask is that the rifle is perfectly legal in places like Colorado, but can't be shipped here with a 20rd mag.
Will the muzzle break be swappable, or is it intended to be permamantly mounted to the barrel?
Less of an important question, but the white MDR on the Recoil Magazine cover was absolutely stunning! While I know the bright color would be high maintenance, are white or other less tactical colors going to be available for purchase in the future?
I appreciate any info you guys can provide

Re: MDR Questions
Jaraii,
The MDR will accept the standard 7.62 PMags, and you will be able to seat them fully, and grab them firmly to remove them.
The gas system is adjustable for shooting different loads of ammuntion as well as suppressors, etc. Also, state compliant packages will be available.
As far as muzzle devices are concerned, all NFA rules apply. They will be removable as long as it is within NFA requirements.
As of right now the only colors that the MDR will be available in is Flat Dark Earth and black.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Re: MDR Questions
Thank you for the answers. Sorry it's been a little since I came back to check, been a busy couple weeks. That sounds great, glad that the Mags will be the common ones some of us already have several of. Disappointing on colors, but not a big deal.
I have 3 remaining questions after reviewing your responses:
Whether a 19"+ barrel will be available sometime this year for the MDR, along with the extended handguard?
With the muzzle breaks being removable, what threading are they set up for on the barrel?
Will the compliance packages be available through your websites firearm builder, or will we need to source it through a distributor directly?

Re: MDR Questions
The 50 state compliant version is in the works, and should be available shortly after the standard MDR. The threads on the barrels will be standard, 5/8-24 on the 7.62 barrels, and 1/2-28 on the 5.56.
As far as purchasing the compliant conversions, I believe at this time they will only be available as a complete rifle, purchased through the same channels as the standard MDR.

The first shot, is worth all the rest.
