Im only paitent because i have other rifles (including a SRS) to shoot. I have thought about pulling the pin on it a few times. Now i am just hoping i dont get a A1 as i wanted to have 2 rifles the same.

Can fix that issue for you mate, as I want the same thing (for when I get the HTI) if you end up with an A1 Covert, I will switch you my regular Gen 2 (upon inspection and acceptance testing by yourself of course) and throw in some cash as its new Vs 2nd hand.

I'm, of course, waiting for the SRS I ordered the first of March, but picked up Rex's DTA pictured above about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. He had the 308 and 260 calibers and have the 26" 338 conversion arriving this Tuesday. Rifle came with pictured scope-Vortex Razor HD 5-20X 50mm with EBR-2B reticle and 10 mil turret in 20 MOA Spuhr 35mm rings. Have been loving this so far, and have posted more recent pictures with the weapon in other Threads here on the website. Have had no issues what-so-ever yet, but have only shot about 250-300 rounds so far, but easily hitting 12X12" steel 5 out of 5 at 300 & 500 yards in the 260 and 308. Minor repeatable scope adjustment after barrel swaps and she's dead on !

PS Would recommend getting any extra magazines you might want now as I did before I got the rifle, because they are available and may not be so plentiful when these rifles start being delivered! I got 2 308 and 3 338 mags from EuroOptic about a month ago. The magazines are all the same size in the DTA, with just a spacer added for the ##*.

Just heard my second DTA SRS A1 (FDE/BLACK) ordered about March 1st should be arriving in the next 2-4 weeks with 308 22" barrel and soft tan case with extra mags, scope mount and torque wrench. We'll see and I'll definitely keep everyone updated when she arrives!

great to hear it's getting close for you. the waits have sucked for everyone, but I know the machines are turning and guys are working hard to get stuff out the door... keep us posted!

As an update...

My A1 showed up a couple weeks back. I haven't gotten to really play with her much yet (only out to about 600yds), but I'll be sure to post up some results when I do!
