To make that work it would have to be perminently welded to the barrel to pass in NSW unfortunately so I have bought it in 338 and will get on the lathe and make an appropriate flash hider / brake and tack it on with the TIG that's all it should need so it can't be un-screwed as the barrel is legal on its own but illegal once fitted to the rifle so couldn't buy it in 308
