Anyone get their AMR scope yet?

Post by Nicholas »

Guys,
We have shipped a decent amount of AMR scopes and I wanted to see if anyone has gotten theirs. I know we really love them but sometimes our customers like to hear independent reviews from others because we can be a bit biased at times. :)

My favorite part of the reticle is the center 1 mil section, it makes wind holes extremely precise and easy. I don't really like holding over for elevation, some do, but I don't, I prefer to dial for elevation but always hold off for wind. The drop grid is really great when we push the distance beyond 2000 yards though when the turret gets maxed out it the grid comes into its own.

I have seen some good reviews on the Hide. I have been using a Vortex Razor HD 5-20X with 10 mil turrets and EBR-2B reticle and a S&B 3-20X with MSR reticle and MTC locking turrets. Using my 260 26" barrels more often than the 308s. Hitting 12" square steel plates at 900 yards about 80% of the time. Using 30 or 40 MOA DTA mounts. Just preordered new Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27X in MRAD with EBR-2C reticle. Reviews have been great and can't beat the Vortex lifetime, no fault, transferable warranty for $1000 or more less than other premium scopes. Perfect scope for LR and ELR shooting.Image 8-) 8-) 8-)
