Alloy Replacement Butpad Mount - Bag Rider

Post by Seddo »

Has anyone used or seen the alloy butpad mounts? I am assuming staff has seen them.

I ordered one about 3 months ago and i am still waiting so i thought i would ask here. I want to build a butt with a built in bag rider for my SRS. I want a second butt set up so i dont ahve to pull it apart to swap between facotry set up adn bag rider. My plan was to replace one of the spacers with the bit of alloy that hanged out the bottom and then get a round bar tig weled onto it.

What do you guys think? Has anyone done it before?

Hi guys,

I decided to buy a bag rider from shooters shed uk, i had a lazy moment. They were very easy to deal with and fast on shipping, 7 days to get from he UK to Australia. I havent installed it yet but will get it done by the weekend and post some pics.

Do they make one for the a1 with the difference in the recoil pad spacers I can mill one up for the old one bet the new one has tags to release them I believe which is much harder to make

Shipping was bugger all, less than 15 pounds from memory.

Our alloy mounts are stronger than the old SRS mounts, the new polymer mounts actually will take more abuse than the aluminum upgrade though. We have done lots of drop testing to ensure of that. :)

Sweet, I'll have to chase a new one down. I noticed I had broken a tab off mine the other day.
