SRS magazine depth

Anyone care to measure the ID of their short action magazine? I've read that the SRS magazines are supposed to be 3" for the small cartridges. The longest OAL I've been able to load to is 2.92" without the bullets coming in contact with the front of the magazine. 2.90" is the longest I can load to and still get the rounds to feed properly. What I mean by that is by the 3rd shot the bottom round will tip the follower.
