The DTSS will only interface with the QD Brake, correct?

I believe that is correct, I'm not sure if I'd call it a QD mount either, as it threads on about the same as any DA suppressor, it just does it on the break.

I only bring it up as I'm hoping to get one over here in NZ and obviously not all barrels come with brakes (ie 6.5 or .260). So for clarification, if we want to use a DTSS, we need to have a QD brake on the barrel?

Thats right, if you want to use the DTSS you have to have the DTA QD break on your barrel.
