Needed a break-in
Reviewed: MDRx Rifle, 7.62 NATO / .308 Win 20" 10rd Forward-Ejection California BLK
"The forward eject system needed a break-in before everything smoothed out, but once it did, the rifle has been flawless. I've spent a lot more time shooting it than my previous rifle, and I don't regret making the switch."
Solid Rifle

"I came from a standard AR-15 and wanted something different. The MDRX felt modern right away. The controls made sense, it was accurate, and it ran well. I did have one magazine issue, but Desert Tech turned the repair around in just over a week. Since then it's been a solid rifle."
Good Gun

"I was blown up at work and only have the use of my left arm, so finding a left-handed bullpup wasn't easy. I bought a used MDRX that arrived with a broken charging handle. Desert Tech didn't just repair it—they replaced everything they thought could be questionable under warranty. They wanted to make sure the rifle was right before sending it back, and that meant a lot to me. I'd recommend them to anyone."
Good Rifle

"The design is what caught my attention. It looked different from anything else on the market, and I wanted to try something new. There were a few hiccups getting it running at first, but once everything was sorted out, I found the controls fast, intuitive, and easy to shoot. I'd still like to upgrade mine because I enjoy the platform that much."
Well-built Rifle
Reviewed: MDRx Rifle, 7.62 NATO / .308 Win 20" 10rd Forward-Ejection California BLK
"I wanted a rifle that was easier to carry into the woods without giving up barrel length. That's exactly what the MDR gave me. The shorter package makes a huge difference in a tree stand, and it's much easier to move around without feeling cramped. It's a well-built rifle that I'd happily buy again."
